Sinochem Hong Kong awarded “Best Cash Pooling Solution” by Treasury Management International

Sinochem Hong Kong recently received the “Best Cash Pooling Solution” award from Treasury Management International, recognizing its outstanding wealth and capital management practices, as well as its innovation capabilities.

To better support Sinochem Holdings’ global operations and the expansion of its overseas businesses, Sinochem Hong Kong began building a global virtual cash pooling system in 2008. Designed to operate across multiple entities and currencies, the system places Sinochem Hong Kong as the master account, enabling centralized and unified management of offshore funds.

The cash pool now covers Sinochem Hong Kong’s major overseas subsidiaries and supports more than 30 major currencies. It enables centralized fund allocation, balances surpluses and shortfalls among entities, and coordinates cross-currency liquidity across overseas operations. Through efficient management and real-time monitoring, the system provides full visibility into offshore cash positions and allows for centralized, real-time deployment of overseas funds.

The cash pool not only ensures the financial independence and compliance of member companies, but also enhances their ability to manage and mitigate global capital risks. This effectively boosts Sinochem Holdings’ overall capital efficiency and global liquidity management.
