Syngenta launches REVERTE soil regeneration program in Paraguay

Syngenta recently launched its REVERTE soil regeneration program in Paraguay.?This pilot program aims to help farmers transition to regenerative agricultural practices while accessing long-term financing to restore degraded land into productive?and sustainable farmland.

In partnership with Banco Itau Paraguay S.A., the project offers term loans and preferential financing rates to farmers who adopt regenerative agriculture and meet the program’s?eligibility criteria. An international civil society organization will oversee agronomic monitoring and ensure compliance with program implementation standards.

Launched in Brazil in 2021, REVERTE has already restored more than 250,000 hectares of land.
