On June 10, Bluestar (Beijing) Chemical Machinery Co., Ltd. (BCMC) held a press conference at the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, officially launching?its independently developed atmospheric alkaline water electrolysis hydrogen production unit with a capacity of 3,000 standard cubic meters per hour. The unit represents, on a global scale, the electrolyzer with the widest current density fluctuation range and the largest single-unit hydrogen production capacity, filling a gap in the domestic market. A single unit can produce up to 3,000 standard cubic meters of hydrogen per hour, while the full system capacity can reach 20,000 standard cubic meters per hour.?It supports a maximum current density of 12 kA/m? and enables dynamic adjustment within a range of 10?percent?to 120?percent. The system also features a high level of intelligence, strong safety performance, high efficiency, low energy consumption, and convenient transport and maintenance. Integrated with BCMC’s mature molten salt energy storage technology, it enables a “green electricity–green hydrogen–green heat” multi-energy complementary solution, supporting on-site energy production, consumption, and value maximization.?The first batch of units will be deployed in a demonstration project of Sinopec Star New Energy Co., Ltd. for industrial testing of new electrolyzers, where they will undergo real-world operational validation.
